The following is an event with regard to my work: People of other division shifted an official document to my division, thinking my division should be responsible for this document. The chief of a subdivision was unhappy about it, thinking it originated from that division.
If he cooled down, he was very likely to be able to shift it back to that division. It for real originated from that division, making other division deal with it would be against the fundamental principle of task assignment.
Unfortunately, he did not cool down and kept complaining. As a result, his subordinate had to deal with a document he did not need to deal with.
My conclusion: Emotions usually make people make an unwise decision. To prevent this condition, we should be inured to controlling our emotions. When feeling gloomy or indignant, we should try to make gloom or indignation stop growing. Only when gloom or indignation be dispelled could we make a better decision. In my opinion, listening to music is a good way to dispel gloom or indignation^_^
