有個人到喜馬拉雅山神廟朝聖，
山高路遠，崎嶇難行，空氣又稀薄，恨不得快點到達目的地。

在途中，他看見有個瘦小女孩，背著一個胖男孩。
小女孩汗流浹背，氣喘吁吁。
他同情地對她說：
「我只帶個包袱就感到負擔，你背得這麼重，
一定很累，停下來休息一下吧。」

小女孩搖搖頭，綻開陽光般的笑容說：
「你背的是包袱，所以覺得沈重；
我背的是弟弟，一點也不覺得重。

愛不是負擔，而是喜悅的關懷、無求的付出，是世上最偉大的力量。
