作者簡介︰
約翰‧濟慈（John Keats，1795年10月31日－1821年2月23日）出生於英國倫敦，因肺結核逝於教宗國的羅馬，終年僅25歲。他是最重要的浪漫主義詩人之一，為世界留下多首絕世名詩，如出自寫給愛人方妮‧布朗（Fanny Brawne）情書中的“I almost wish we were butterflies and liv d but three summer days - three such days with you I could fill with more delight than fifty common years could ever contain.”一節，堪稱情詩經典

跟隨你的足跡隱沒於幽暗叢林裡!
讓我就這樣地遠離消逝!
這一切不是你那藏於綠葉中的軀體所能顯現
將那憂苦的病痛拋卻
也忘記這令人悲嘆枯坐的世界吧!
當蒼白的青春滲入消瘦、死亡，
憂傷鬱悶絕望的灰調擺渡著已癱瘓的思緒
明眸的光彩不再有美麗的映證
新鮮的愛情因明日的到來而凋零!
飄吧！飄吧！我要朝你的方向飛飄，
無須擠入酒神御駕文豹的座車內
舒展開幻想的詩歌輕翼，
哪怕困頓、疲乏已蔓延周身；
飄呀！呵，我已經和你同往！
夜這般温柔，月娘紁粉著容顏游盪，
周邊更陪襯著閃爍的星星；
此處更顯幽暗，
除微風帶過的一線天光，
映照出蓊綠的幽暗及那佈滿苔蘚的曲逕。
我無法完全辨識出腳邊的花草，
樹枝上垂掛的清香；
我臆測著這些果樹;叢林;草原該綻放出何種季節的芬芳!
這裡的白山楂野放的玫瑰林;平鋪於綠葉上易凋的紫羅蘭!
充斥在五月中的嬌嫩!
麝香蔷薇綴滿花酒般的露珠，
這天堂成了夏夜飛蟲呢喃盤旋的港灣。
無數次黑夜裡的傾聽
我愛上了這静谧的死寂，
我竭盡文字的詩情，
希企將我的一息尚存揮灑於迷濛中；
此時!
哦!
死已更接近絕妙的輝煌!
在午夜裡駭然地魂魄飄離!
傾瀉著靈窖裡的心懷
牽引出這般的狂喜!
你依舊歌頌著，而我却掩耳如聾——
只剩這原野隨風而偃的青草收錄了你的輓歌!
死亡不會追隨你;你是永生的!
饑渴的炎涼世態不能將你蹂躙；
今夜，我偶然聽到那曾使古代的帝王和村夫喜悦的歌;
也許!
這歌曾讓露絲內心激盪落淚 ,立於異鄉田埂間思鄉；
一直地!
這聲音牽動了遺失已久的仙境裡的窗扉
一優雅動人的女子望著大海惡險的浪花。

這詞如雷鈴灌耳使我猛醒到我站脚的地方!
别了!幻想，騙人的小妖精，
不能再耍弄它謎樣的欺矇技俩。
别了！别了！你泣訴的歌声
流過草原，越過幽静的溪流，
溜上山坡；而此刻，它正深深
埋在附近的溪谷中：
