Do you know that October 4th is the world animal day ?

It started in Italy , Florence since 1931 .

Because it coincides with the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi .

This saint who had a way with creatures that is why he d been chosen .

Ecologists hoped this special day would draw attention to the endangered species .

Although it s a dog-eat-dog world but it s important to show our animal friends goodness .

you could visit an animal shelter and adopt a pet or to sponsor .

I wish those stray dogs in Chengcing lake will be taken to the shelter .
