甲仙山居期間曾下山重回88風災遭到滅村的小林村。
一片黃沙塵土中，昔日美麗的楠梓仙溪只剩下流過碎石沙地嗚咽的細水溝，
山型地貌完全改變，環顧埋在前頭土方中的四五百位亡魂，
山寨王描述著他當初在這兒幫忙救助的慘況...
走進剛落成的小林村紀念公園，悼念的鮮花尚未凋零，
看著每一戶紀念碑，地址，姓名...我的眼睛不聽話的下雨了...
默默在心裡唸著紀念碑文：卿卿我的愛，我們要深深的愛你們....

你必須教導你的孩子們
他們腳下的土地是我們祖先的灰燼
所以他們會尊敬這塊土地
告訴他們大地融合著我們親人的生命
