Sea "rain forests" -- beautiful under water world that form entire ecosystems .

Coral reefs only 1% of the ocean floor but support 25% of ocean life .

Only the outside layer of the coral is alive .

Their shapes may be round, branchlike or even flat .

Coral get its food from tiny creatures, called "plankton," that flow by and also from algae .

In warm, tropical water, reefs can grow strong and healthy .

They have a lot to offer humans, such as protect the shore, provide food and medicine, and promote local economies through jobs and tourism .

Two-thirds of corl reefs are at risk of dying because of pollution, poison and over fishing .

Recycling garbages, saving water, traveling by bus or bike, and picking up litter on the beach

are all good methods to reduce the air and ocean pollution .

Healthy coral reefs mean a helthy ocean and a healthy Earth !
