The result of Civil Service Examination, 3rd Senior Grade has been announced, and I failed it again. The par for passing the examination is 67.43 points, but I only get 59.87 points. This year I place 90th, and last year I placed 124th, which means I get improved a little in my performance.
Although failing the significant examination, I want to conduct a defense for myself. If I could play to my strength and did not make serious mistakes, I think I might get 67.87 points and pass the examination. From past experiences, I always have bad luck every time I fix my eyes on beauties to appreciate their good looks. Unfortunately, I did that stupid thing on a bus after finishing my first day of taking the examination. I think that is the primary reason for my being unable to present my normal performance in the significant examination.
In a nutshell, I have the competence to make me pass the examination, and it means I have been one more step nearer to my objective of getting promoted to a higher rank. Therefore, I have to keep studying hard to enhance my competence. The most important of all, I should remember not to fix my eyes on beauties during significant examinations are being held!!!
