A Brief Introduction to Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park is the first national park of the United Sates. It is famous for various geothermal landscapes and abundant wildlife. In Yellowstone National Park, visitors could choose to drive cars, ride bicycles, have horse ridings, go hiking, go canoeing or kayaking, go camping, or go fishing to spend their vacation and have a good time. Visitors could see quite a lot of hot springs and geysers there. All of them have different features, making visitors amazed by their unique scenes and linger around. There are primarily four types of geothermal landscapes, which are Travertine terraces, mud pots, hot springs, and geysers, and Mammoth Hot Springs, Fountain Paint Pot, Grand Prismatic Spring, and Old Faithful Geyser are the representations of them respectively. The so-called Travertine terraces belong to limestone topography. Although this kind of topography is not good for agricultural development, it offers various intriguing landscapes looking like artworks carved with meticulous efforts and it could attract a great number of tourists. All of these four geothermal landscapes are quite beautiful, alluring visitors to take pictures of their natural beauty. In Yellowstone National Park, visitors could see a lot of wildlife, such as bison, elks, bears and coyotes. Some of them would approach visitors to beg for food, but visitors are suggested keeping distance with them based on security consideration. In a nutshell, visitors would have an unimaginable memory after seeing various geothermal landscapes and abundant wildlife of Yellowstone National Park.
