Some Nights這首歌是敘述fun.經歷十餘年走唱生涯、終於成名後，對爆紅後名聲、錢財及種種怪現象擁來，懷疑起自己多年努力做音樂到底堅持的是什麼。如同多數fun.的歌，這首歌講的是自我掙扎、自我懷疑，但最後告訴自己：無論如何我要為自己的信仰 (belief) 努力的深夜中的自我對話。
