2.Just saw a tribute to John Denver on public television. 
Annie Denver said that Perhaps Love is her favorite song
 - said John wrote this song
 when they were both going through a terrible time, 
they were separated with the divorce pending 
and he was on the road. 
He sent the song to her in an envelope.
 Her story differs from the post 
that this was a tribute to his fans.

I was riding with my family forever ago. 
The original version of this was playing;
 I asked my dad what it meant; 
he looked at my mom and and said,
 "Without you,  I am nothing, 
you make me better than I ever thought I could be."
It took me years to understand his answer.
