Improving the Skills of Interpersonal Interactions
The skills of interpersonal interactions are very crucial, so I try to improve these skills when I attend a gathering. Nevertheless, I find my goal is not easy to reach. During a conversation with others, most of the time I keep silent, unable to say something to join in the conversation. The primary reason is that I lack relevant experiences and knowledge, so I cannot know what to say. The second reason is that I cannot find a topic that most people would be interested in to ignite another round of conversation.
Although to reach the goal of improving my skills of interpersonal interactions is not easy, I would never give up. I would proactively join in all kinds of gatherings. In the beginning, I have to be listeners, trying to get the knowledge for me to find something to say, so that I could join in a conversation with ease. On top of that, I should try to improve the skill to find a topic to start a conversation and make people have a delightful conversation. If I have the competence to create delightful conversations, my skills of interpersonal interactions could get improved, making people feel pleased to approach me.
If I can make people feel pleased to approach me, I am more likely to convince them of the benefits of protecting the environment and loving the earth. If people protecting the environment and loving the earth are only in the minority, the benefits would not be felt. Only when people protecting the environment and loving the earth are in the majority, could we make the benefits of cozy environment and sustainable development become a reality^_^
