Written by Qian Tao,
Translated by 莊家睿 and Dolce Doll。
The man's identity remains unknown
So does his name
Near his cottage grow five willows
So do we call him
Quiet and silent
Care little about money and fame
Prefer reading but seldom study thoroughly
好讀書,不求甚解;
Whenever grasping something profound
Meals are merrily forgotten
Fond of beer
But too poor to buy often
Friends and relatives knowing him well
Would frequently buy beer for him
Bottom up all the cups
In order to get drunk
期在必醉;
Leaves when getting drunk
And never shows hesitation
Humble shelter with broken walls
With sun and winds rushing through
不蔽風日;
Distressed clothing
And empty bowls
Never seem to hinder his happiness
Composing articles for self pleasure
To show self aspiration
Let go of losing and winning
Till the end of his life

The wife of Qianlou once said:
Feel no sadness when being poor
Chase no wealth when being noble
That must refer to the man of this kind.
Taking cups and writing poems
Showing joys and his ideas
Isn't he the type of Wuhuai?
Isn't he the sort of Getian?
