I am enjoying my 10 days annual leave these days. On 23rd of Oct, I went with my mother to enjoy a 2 days travel to Macau. This was the first travel after my father was gone.
I had been bought the packages from Wing On Travel, the package included 1 night Parisian hotel room and Roundtrip Cotai Class ferry ticket. I bought 2 sets for me and my mother respectively. It cost me 1600 HK dollars including travel insurance.
We woke up at 7 o'clock on 23rd morning, then we had our breakfast in Cheung Heung restaurant. Then we went to Macau ferry pier by tram.
At around 0815, we arrived Shun Tak and we took the tickets at Cotai ferry ticket counter. We got the 0930 ferry. We window shopped for a while in the shopping centre and at 0900 we went to the immigration counter to process the departure procedure. We then got the window side seats of the ferry travel.
After 1 hour of the voyage, we arrived Macau Taipa ferry pier. After the immigration procedure, we went to the Parisian Hotel by the hotel bus immediately, then we went by hotel bus to the outer ferry pier at Parisian hotel as well. We saved a lot of fare money.
Then we got into the router number 10 to Bara媽閣immediately, we got off the bus at the last terminal but I believed we should leave at the previous stop because there was not necessary to walk for a long distance from the stop to the Bara temple. Then we had our lunch at 振興 restaurant. Then we got into the route no 10 to 福隆新街 because I wanted to enjoy shark fins. But when we arrived, a long queue was waiting. Might be it was the lunch time because it was the time 2pm. Then we went to 義順 to enjoy double skin milk.
We went to 大三巴 to have a look and stayed there for around 1 hour and tried some 牛肉干 and 豬肉干. We went back to the 添發 again to enjoy my shark fin soup. I chose the $95 dollar's shark fin and I was satisfied to the quality of the soup. But during the gossiping with my mother, I was told to enjoy the $220 shark fin next time because we were not always go to Macau, no need to miss the chance to enjoy better. I agreed with my mother's opinion. I would enjoy it next time.
Then we got the route no 3 to go back to Outer ferry pier and changed the hotel bus to the Parisian Hotel. We arrived the hotel at around 6pm. We got our room but I asked the reception to give me a smoking room, but we had to wake for around 1 hour or added $340 to promote to a suite that could be smoked inside. But I noticed my mother’s face became darkness, I dared not upgrade my room and eventually got a non-smoking room at 22nd floor. We satisfied with the room because it seemed comparatively big to my imagine. It was a around 300 feet room. The reason that I chose the Parisian hotel was that it had been opening just for only 1 year, and it was a relatively new hotel.
Then I went out to smoke and learnt the way to go outside.
At around 7pm, we started going to the opposite building, the Studio City Macau to have our dinner. After we compared the restaurant between the food court of Parisian hotel and the Studio City respectively, we chose the food stalls of Studio city, my mother was very satisfying to her fried noodles.
At around 9pm, we left the restaurant and go to the Golden wheel cabin to enjoy our free ticket by the package. So far so good for the cabin trip, because the landscape seeing inside the cabin to see outside was not pretty good. We bought something at Cheke brother shop. We then had a walk at the outer part of the hotel. At 1030pm we came back to the room. I slept at around 11pm.
On 24th Oct, I was being woke up at 0830 because I still want to sleep for a while.
We had our breakfast the food stall inside the Studio City as well.
Then we took the no. 25 to go to Taipa old town. We stayed there at around 1 hour and then we took the route no. 25 again to go to 三盞燈。It was a relatively value bus route. It passed through many area I had not been arrived before.
We got off the bus at 高士丁大馬路 near 三盞燈. It was the time 1pm. A roast goose restaurant 陳光記 was attractive to us, so we had our lunch there. The roast goose was quite good, at least it was difficult to have such taste in Hong Kong because of the difference of iced goose and fresh goose. Then we walked at there and finally find the 馮記豬腳姜。
We then took the bus route to our hotel at around 4pm.
We went to the Venetian shopping mall and Sands City because many hotels were connected to the Sand City because they are all Sands group.
At around 6pm I enjoyed my last cup of white coffee at McCafe at Studio City in this travel. Then we went to the Taipa Ferry Pier by hotel bus.
We had the 9pm tickets but it was the time half past seven. Therefore, I asked for the staff of ferry pier where could we have a seat for drinking. The staff asked me why. I told him we had the 9pm ticket but it was just the time 0730pm. Then I was told we could took the earliest ferry to Hong Kong if there was seat available. Finally, we got into the 8pm coast.
We arrived Shun Tak at 9pm and came back to home at 0940pm.
I was so tired and my mother was very satisfied to the trip. I appreciated to it.
If we had known we could take an earlier ship, we could have arrived home earlier.
