Coincidentally, Today is the first leave of both my mother and I since the 100th day of my grandmother’s passing. We have our breakfast at a Chinese tea restaurant at Shi Tong Tsui. Because we haven't been gone to this district to drink tea for a long time. I feel the restaurant much cheaper than having at Kennedy Town. We have ordered 5 dishes that cost me only 82 HK dollars with tea cost, but I have to pay more than 100 HK dollars at Kennedy Town. The quality is OK.
Having drunk tea, my mother tells me she hopes to go to High Speed Railway Hong Kong Station to have a look. Then we take the bus 971 to go to Austin stop then walk to the station. There are 3 railway stations nearby. One is MTR Austin station that goes to Yuen Long or Tuen Mun. One is MTR Kowloon Station that goes to Hong Kong Airport or Lantau Island. The last one is our today's target, High Speed Railway Hong Kong Station.
The station has 4 main floor levels,
one for Departure lounges
one for Arrival halls
one for Food and Beverage outlets
and one for Duty free outlets.
The most fascinating outlet to me is the Hong Kong Hotels Association. Because I have been working at Hotel field for several years. I have been heard for HKHA for many times. This is the first time I arrive its outlet.
Then we go to the bus stop that between Austin station and High-Speed Railway station. I have found the fare of bus no.W2 route to Kwun Tong is just for 5.5 HK dollars. Both my mother and I feel surprise. We have no hesitation to wait for the bus. I feel surprise as well because we only need 20 minutes to go to Kwun Tong because the bus route is using highway whole the journey.
We go to the Kwun Tong old town to have a look, especially at Kwun Tong market. Then my mother buy her lunch at 寶光齋.
We then go to the Ngau Tau Kok to take the bus no. 101 to go home but I get off the bus at Sai Ying Pun to buy 2 bottles of Aromatic Body wash.
