Because people have to go through quite a lot of trouble for travelling abroad, it might be good for domestic economy. The money spent on travelling abroad might be transferred to the driving power of domestic economy.
Before, I would go to a restaurant to have lunch after seeing a movie at a cinema. It was usually at rush hours, but there were still some seats for me to take.
Nonetheless, the condition was quite different last week. There were no seats for me to take. Maybe people spend their money for traveling abroad on domestic consumption and domestic economy starts to be booming. As a result, I should avoid having lunch during rush hours next time.
