This is a movie about the story of school children at desolate countryside. Their school is going to face the fate of being disbanded, so they work hard to have good performance at a singing contest. If they succeed in becoming famous, their fate might be changed.
Unfortunately, children from other schools have better performance than they do. Accordingly, their school none the less gets the official document of imminent disbandment. However, the movie wants to remind us that it is not very important. What are more important are their smiles when they are on stage and get the applause of the audience.
To enjoy the happiness of being approved, they join in another singing contest. In the end of the movie, the sound of their songs is for real dolce. Nevertheless, the movie does not let the audience know whether their performance is placed or not because the fact of being placed or not is definitely not very important.
