Last night, a big name plummeted to death after knowing of the fact the Mayor of Kaohsiung City was successfully recalled. He said that he could not live a meaningful life since society did not have justice and righteousness.
Unfair events keep happening every now and then. For example, the person killing a policeman is sentenced to be guiltless is one of them. In my opinion, Mayor Ko inventing some strange policies such as decreasing quantity of official documents and decreasing stamps on official documents to mistreat the staff but not being recalled is another one of them.
Nevertheless, is life meaningless since society does not have justice and righteousness? No, under these circumstances, we none the less could lead a happy and healthy life. Only when leading a happy and healthy life could we accumulate necessary resources and power to fight injustice and unrighteousness.
Mayor Ko is not recalled, in my opinion, is an event of injustice and unrighteousness. However, I would not keep complaining and feeling sad day in and day out. I would lead a happy and healthy life and keep working hard to accumulate necessary resources and power to fight injustice and unrighteousness. An event of injustice and unrighteousness is merely temporary. Never be a person being meekly mistreated by a tyrant, but be a person successfully overthrowing a tyrant. On top of that, never be a tiny shrimp to fight a giant whale, but be a tiny shrimp working hard to become a giant whale so as to defeat giant whale. Let the history decides whether Mayor Ko is a good mayor or not. There is no denying that it needs some time. Never lose hope for temporary failure.
