在休假時，我會去台北植物園，為了維持良好的健康。
最近，很多人寧願待在家裡，為了防疫，
但是呢，我並不喜歡待在家裡成為宅男。
無可否認地，待在家裡已經被認為是為國奉獻，
然而，我認為為自己的健康奉獻是比較重要的事情。
此外，我並不認為到效外去會讓我被傳染武漢肺炎，
因為會到效外去的人很少，不會有社交距離的問題。
我認為觀看綠色植物有益於我的雙眼，
而且，呼吸新鮮空氣有益於我的雙肺，
於是呢，我幾乎每個禮拜都喜歡去台北植物園。
植物會在不同的時期開花，
所以每次我到那裡時景色會有所不同。
有的時候是彩花滿樹，有的時候是落英繽紛，
即使我每個禮拜都去同一個地方，生活依舊多彩多姿。
這種樂趣就好像是每個禮拜都去吃麥當勞，
雖然，每個禮拜都是去吃一模一樣的食物，
但是麥當勞愛好者仍然會定期到那裡報到，不會吃膩。
台北植物園景色的美麗就如同麥當勞食物的美味。
幾個禮拜以前，我發現一隻小鳥站在一棵樹的小枝上，
牠一直啾啾地叫個不停，看起來好像是要吸引母鳥前來。
我站在那裡好長的一段時間，想看接下來會發生什麼事情。
然而，時間一分一秒地過去，什麼也沒發生，
沒有任何同類的母鳥到那裡與那隻努力的小鳥約會。
牠沒有放棄，仍然一直叫個不停，
但是我放棄了，帶著失望的心情離開了。
也許是因為在台北植物園，這個種類的鳥太少了，
也許是因為牠純粹只是心情好，叫個不停只是表達快樂而已。
我希望在未來，那裡可以有很多的小鳥，
然後我就可以看到兩隻鳥為了贏得母鳥的芳心而大打出手。
幾天以後，我又在台北植物園看到了同一種鳥，
同時在那個地方，有幾個賞鳥的人拿著望遠鏡觀察它。
我問了其中的一個人那是什麼鳥，她告訴我它叫鵲鴝。
因此，到台北植物園的另一個好處就是可以長知識，
與他人進行言語交談時，我就可以找出多一點的話題。
A Bird in the Taipei Botanical Garden
At holidays, I would like to go to the Taipei Botanical Garden, for keeping good health. Recently, many people prefer to stay at home for pandemic prevention. Nonetheless, I do not like to stay at home and be a homebody. There is no denying that staying at home has been thought to make contribution to our nation. However, I think making more contribution to my health is much more important. On top of that, I do not think going outdoors could make me be infected with Wuhan Pneumonia because few people like going outdoors and social distance would not be a problem.
I think seeing green plants could be good for my eyes and breathing fresh air could be good for my lungs, so I like to go to the Taipei Botanical Garden almost every week. Plants would bloom at different time, so the scenery would be different every time I go there. Sometimes, trees are covered with colorful flowers, and sometimes, the land is interspersed with fallen petals. Therefore, life could still be colorful even though every week I go to the same place. The fun is like going to McDonald’s every week. In spite of eating the same food at McDonald’s every week, McDonald’s goers would keep going there regularly without feeling satiated. The beauty of the scenery of the Taipei Botanical Garden is like the tastiness of the food at McDonald’s.
Several weeks ago, I found a bird standing on the twig of a tree. It kept chirping, seeming to attract a female bird to come. I stood there for a long time, seeing what would happen. Nevertheless, the time went by miuntes by minutes, nothing happened, and not any female bird of the same species came there to have a dating with the hardworking bird. It did not give up, keeping chirping all the time, but I gave up, leaving with the mood of disappointment. Maybe there are only few birds of this species in the Taipei Botanical Garden. Or it was merely in a good mood, and keeping chirping was merely showing its happiness. I hope in the future, there could be a lot of birds there, and I could see two birds fighting each other to win the heart of a female bird.
Several days later, I saw the same kind of bird in the Taipei Botanical Garden again, and there were some birdwatchers observing it with telescopes. I asked one of them what the name of this kind bird was. She told me it was called鵲鴝. Therefore, another benefit of going the Taipei Botanical Garden is being able to enrich my knowledge and I could have more topics to pick out when having a conversation with others. |
