One of the Chinese Professional Baseball League s team s president,

Hung Jui-Ho, announced that the Brother Elephants was on the market due to large financial losses .

The Elephants were established in 1984 as an amateur baseball team by Taipei s Brother Hotel .

Some potential buyers were interested in purchasing the team,

including HTC, Foxconn, and Cathay Financial .

Finally, the Brother Hotel decided to sell the team to the Chinatrust Group,

and the team was renamed the Chinatrust Brothers .

Fans are hoping that it will restore the glory days to this legendary franchise .
